I can’t believe the school year has come to an end. All of the children have been amazing, and I am going to miss them!
I am especially grateful to our class parents, Mrs. Rucker and Mrs. Sandifer. They had been wonderful at coordinating everything.
I will be sending home school books and supplies throughout the week. Please make sure your child empties his or her backpack each afternoon.
Weather permitting, we are going to try to go outside and sit on the grass during independent reading. So beginning Monday, if your child would like to bring in a towel or sheet to sit on, that would be great!
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we are going to have Game Days! After doing some school work in the morning, we will play games. So, if your child would like to bring a game to school on Tuesday, please allow him or her to bring just one game… no electronics.
There is no school on Thursday because of Junteenth.
Our last day is on Friday. We are going to celebrate with a class party.
Thank you for a fantastic school year! Have a wonderful summer!
