I can’t believe the school year has come to an end. All of the children have been amazing while we learned during a pandemnic. This has been one of the most caring, compassionate classes I have ever taught. I am going to miss them all!

I will be sending home school books and supplies throughtout the week. Please make sure your child empties his or her backpack each afternoon.

I am especially grateful to our classparents: Mrs. Au and Mrs. Overton. They have been wonderful at coordinating parties and Wingo.

We have finished reading The Tale of Despereaux, and I’m pretty sure everyone enjoyed the story of the special mouse on a quest. This week we will be creating posters to make consumers excited to read the story.  Our last day is on Thursday. We are going to celebrate with a class party, and we will also be watching The Tale of Despereaux movie.

Finally, I am going to be sending home a review packet for the students to complete over the summer.  It will also be posted on the school website. The packet will be due the first full week of school in September. I also encourage everyone to continue to practice their multiplication facts.

Thank you for a wonderful school year!
