I can’t believe the school year has come to an end. All of the children have been amazing, and I am going to miss them!

I am especially grateful to our class parent, Ms. Theis. She had been wonderful coordinating everything.

I will be sending home school books and supplies throughout the week. Please make sure your child empties his or her backpack each afternoon.

Students should bring their computers to school on Monday and Tuesday.

On Wednesday, we are going to have Game Day! After doing some school work in the morning, we will play games. So, if your child would like to bring a game to school on Wednesday, please allow him or her to…just one game, and no electronics. Students can bring their computers tomorrow if they want to participate in Blooket.

We have finished reading The Tale of Despereaux, and I’m pretty sure everyone enjoyed the story of the special mouse on a quest. This week, we will be creating posters to make consumers excited to read the story. Additionally, we will be decorating handkerchiefs. Our last day is on Thursday. We are going to celebrate with a class party, and we will also be watching The Tale of Despereaux movie.

Finally, in the Completed Work folder, I am going to be sending home a review packet for the students to complete over the summer.  It will also be posted on the school website. The packet will be due the first full week of school in September. When the children return the completed packet to school, they will get a N.U.T. card. I also encourage everyone to continue to practice their multiplication facts.

Thank you for a fantastic school year! Have a wonderful summer!
