It’s Read Across America Week, and we are reading in third grade! We visited the Book Fair on Tuesday, and children who forgot to bring their money are welcomed to bring it in on Wednesday. A huge thank you to our parent association for sponsoring this event.
Mrs. Kerwin asked me to let you know that the students will be creating book character masks. They will need a picture of a book character to bring to class on Tuesday 3/6. They can bring a copy or the actual book to make their Book Character Mask.
I will be out of school on Wednesday at a professional development conference.
Math
We have started fractions.
ELA
We are having only spelling and grammar ELA tests on Friday.

We are growing butternut squash and grass in the classroom. We are learning about flowering plants and plants with cones.
Social Studies
We are finishing up Canada this week. We are not having a test on this.
Religion
I have included the link here for Third Grade Memory Work and due dates. We do not have a Wednesday test this week.
