We are having our Valentine’s Day party on Friday afternoon. Children are welcomed to bring in cards to share with their classmates.
ELA – This week we are working with our biographies. We are not doing a new story in our reading textbook. We will be working on reading comprehension and writing written responses to questions using Readworks.org.
Our spelling words are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, New York, Albany, Washington, and Valentine.
In Math we are finishing up division. Our test is on Wednesday.
In Social Studies, we are learning about South Africa’s geography.
For Science, we are determining the best way to get rid of mosquitoes.
Our religion memory this week is “They are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. Matthew 19:6. Our test is on Wednesday.
