Important Information
The stuffed animals reports came out great! Everyone did an excellent job presenting them to the class. They are hanging in the hallway for everyone to see. Make sure you check them out during our Spring Concert.
Next week is Holy Week, and we do not have school on Thursday and Friday. This week’s class notes will cover both this week and next week.
Please make sure water bottles are brought to school every day.
Don’t forget to check the band schedule. We have band on Tuesdays and Fridays. I am sure that more band days will be scheduled as our Spring Concert is approaching.

Science: In this lesson, we explore the extreme trait variation of different dog breeds — and pet pigeon breeds. In the activity, Pigeon Pairings, students analyze trait similarities and differences among parent, offspring, and sibling pigeons. They interpret this data to discover that the variation and inheritance of traits creates a pattern that explains why we see such extreme traits in artificially selected animal breeds.
Social Studies: We are learning about American heroes. We are going to be focusing on the Founding Fathers, Anne Hutchinson, Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, Frederrick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Jr. ad Jane Addams.
Religion: We are focusing on the story of Holy Week and how Jesus gave up his life in order to save us from sin.
