Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great memorial day weekend. On Friday it will be 10 more days until the end! I am shocked how fast this year went. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices as we head towards the end of the school year. This week will be our last week for reading and math curriculum tests. Then, we will begin end of the year benchmarks. There is no way to study for these it is just to see how the children have progressed since September.
Spelling – 3x each is due on Friday and our spelling test will also be on Friday. Our spelling words this week are – strike, spray, splash, split, scrape, three, know, write, your, heard
Math – We will finish up our module with time and have our test on Friday. It is a short module and just covers the basics about telling time.
ELA – This week we are learning about 3 letter blends in the beginning. We are reviewing inflectional endings such as -ing and -ed. Our vocab words are difficult – not easy and nobody – no person. Our HF words are before, front, heard, push, tomorrow, your
Writing – We will be doing some fun writing activities and working in our journals.
Social Studies/Science – We are continuing our lapbook project. We will be doing a mini lesson on the moon and its phases.
