Math 6

This week we are starting to explore algebraic expressions.  We will learn about constans, coefficients, and variables.  We will then translate between words and expressions.  There will be a quiz on Friday, 3/11.

Math 7

This week we are starting a new chapter on statistics.  We will be learning about mean, median, and mode.  Then we will explore measures of variation, minimum, maximum, and range.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are finishing up our 2D geometry unit.  There is a test on Tuesday, 3/8.  Following the exam we will start a new chapter on the Pythagorean Theorem.

Algebra

This week we are finishing up Chapter 8 on Polynomials.  The test is on Tuesday, 3/8.  Following the exam, we will begin our next chapter on quadratic equations.  We will explore the axis of symmetry, vertex, and finding the roots of an equation.
