I will be posting our class news, as well as test dates and what we are doing academically each week. Once you have viewed my notes for the first time, please send me an email letting me know that you have access to my notes and that you will be viewing them each week. I will update them at the beginning of each week.
We have been working in our Math and Reading books, reviewing skills the children should have learned last year. I have sent home a list of high frequency words that your child should be familiar with as we begin our new first grade reading curriculum.
REMINDERS:
1. Back to School Night will be Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm
2. Please be sure that your child has plenty of pencils in school, for many children seem to use them (or lose them) quickly. It would be helpful if you could put his/her name or initials on each pencil.
