It’s hard to believe we are down to the last twenty days or so of our school year. We will be working hard to finish up learning material in all of our different subject areas. In ELA we have finished our Journeys series so for the remaining weeks of school we will be reading shorts stories and reviewing different elements of literature. The students will be working in school on their Animal Research Reports. They will be working in both the computer lab and the library to get the information about the animal they have selected.

Reading: Review theme: “The Beltons’ Imagination” and “A Friendly Field Trip”
Writing: Begin animal research reports
Math: line symmetry, shape patterns
Science: Unit 5 Lesson 3 Exploration 1 Touchy Feely
Social Studies: Test on chapter 10

IMPORTANT NEWS:
- On Tuesday we will watch the K-3 Musical during the school day
- On Wednesday during Chapel we will have our Giving Back Assembly celebrating another successful school year of raising funds for Long Island Cares. thank you for your generosity throughout the year.
- There is NO school on Friday 5/25 or Monday 5/28, in observance of Memorial Day.
