This year is a special year for TLS Athletics. For the first time ever this Spring season, Trinity has come together with LuHi to create the first Trinity/LuHi Boy’s Lacrosse Team. Members of this team are from Trinity Lutheran School and Long Island Lutheran High School & Middle School. By combining the team with both Trinity and LuHi players, the students learn the true meaning of teamwork and sportsmanship. The players this year are the first ever to play on the Trinity/LuHi Boy’s Lacrosse Team. The creation of this team has been successful due to the hard work of Mr. Tom Kuck (LuHi Assistant Athletic Director), Ms. Kelly Dempsey (Trinity Lutheran School Athletic Director), Mr. Phil Essigman (Boy’s Lacrosse Coach) and Mr. Scannell (LuHi’s High School Principal).
The Boy’s Lacrosse Schedule can be seen on the TLS Calendar. Practices are held both at Trinity and LUHI. If practice is held somewhere other than Trinity, the players will be bused to the other location. Players will also get bused to their games. When the practice or game is over, the team will be bused back to Trinity for pickup.
