Toddler News – Week of January 12th

Hope everyone had a good weekend.   The children all had a great first week back at school.   We talked about the New Year and all about winter.   As we enter the fifth month of school, we have seen so much growth in your children.  They are loving playing with each other and are sharing so well.  Story time is something that is enjoyed by all and we are able to read some longer stories to them now.   In the next couple of weeks, I will send home a sign-up sheet for parents to come into school and be a mystery reader.  I think the children will love the surprise visitors.

This week we will continue to talk about winter and we will also begin to talk about arctic animals.   Our stories, songs and crafts will relate to these themes.  During Jesus time, we will talk about God loving us all.  We will read a mini book about Martin Luther King Jr and talked about kindness and love.
