This week in our class we are exploring all the many different types of vehicles in our community.  We will discuss the various different methods people use for transportation and the specific vehicles that our community helpers use while working in our town.

This week we will also explore the harvest season and its culminating celebration:  Thanksgiving.  We will give thanks to God for all the blessings and good food He has given us this harvest season.  One such food we thank God for is the corn plant.  We will explore the life cycle of a corn plant, its importance in the New World and its uses as a food.  We will grind corn into meal and bake cornbread to enjoy with the freshly churned butter we are making for a special snack on Wednesday.

In addition, our core concepts for the week include:  the letter Ii, math patterning (ABAB & ABCABC) and our ABCs of Faith is I is for Incense, Incarnation, Invitation and Innocent.
