5th Grade Social Studies –  Continue with Settling the Colonies with a focus on The Mayflower Compact and Lesson 4 – The French and Dutch in North America.  The quiz for Lessons 3 and 4 will be on Monday, November 24.

5th Grade Science – The critter posters are due on Monday.  The focus this week will be on the rock cycle and the water cycle.  On Wednesday, we will have a water cycle activity that demonstrates how evaporation, condensation, and precipitation are interconnected.   

5th Grade Religion – The students were fabulous in their roles at Chapel this week.  For those who did not have a role, I promised they would be able to pick their role when we have Chapel again in March.  This week, we will complete Moses Strikes the Rock and The Fall of Jericho, and prepare for the Unit 2 Test on Friday.  A study guide will be provided on Tuesday.   

6th Grade Math – Starting a new unit on Percent and Ratios.  The quiz will be on Friday.  Please continue to practice multiplication with the students.   

6th Grade Earth Science – Start 4.4 Metamorphic Rock.  The quiz on 4.4 vocabulary will be on Thursday.  There will be a Chapter 4 test on Monday, November 24.  The review packet will be provided on Wednesday for the Chapter test.  The students should be reviewing the vocabulary for 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 all week.
