This week in our class we begin with an exploration of the history of Groundhog’s Day and shadow puppet play.  We will create shadows, draw our own silhouettes and use flashlights to explore the concept of light and shadow.  We will also discuss letter Qq, the number 15 and the community helpers: Beautician / Barber in the dramatic play center.  Our science center will include hands on demonstrations of good oral hygiene and tooth care.  We will also begin crafting hearts and learning about love in preparation for Valentine’s Day.  Our ABCs of Faith this week is Q is for Queen, quiet, quarter and question.
