Dear Parents,
It was so great to see everyone after our long break. We all missed each other very much and had such a great week discussing all the changes that took place over the break. We discussed our new season, Winter and made some nice crafts. We learned all about snowflakes in our scholastic worksheet, how they look, feel, sound and even smell.
This past week in religion, the children learned about the Epiphany and made little booklets.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all whether in person or virtual for our parent teacher conferences. If you haven’t signed up yet, please be sure to secure a spot.
This coming week, we will continue learning our letters with the letter “M” for Martin Luther King Jr. The children will learn to recognize, sound out, and write the letter M. We will also celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. this week, by teaching the children who he was and why he is such an important figure in history.
IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:
- January 16th – NO SCHOOL for (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
- January 19th – NO SCHOOL for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Please make sure you send in your child’s helmet so they can use the tricycles in the MPR this week. If they don’t have a helmet, they will not be able to ride one. It is also important that the children wear sneakers. Thank you.
We hope you had a nice weekend and enjoy your evening.
Miss Kelly and Miss Ava.
