5th Grade Spanish: This week the students will continue learning to read and speak through storytelling with Interact-A-Story 1, Section 2 and 3 in present tense. They will practice using the vocabulary words: 1st/2nd/3rd person of esta, es, tener, querer, va a.
6th Grade Spanish: This week the students will finish chapter 1 of the novel, Berto and Sus Buenas Ideas and will complete a Cierto o Falso activity to assess their comprehension. They will start chapter 2 this week. They will continue with Interact-A-Story 1, Section 3 with the core vocabulary es, esta, tiene, quiere, dice and hay.
7th Grade Spanish: This week the students will continue reading the novel ‘Seis Meses de Soledad‘ Chapter 5. They will also practice speaking and writing through picture talk. They will continue practice using the vocabulary: es, esta, tiene, quiere, dice and hay.
8th Grade Spanish: This week the students will continue reading the novel ‘Seis Meses de Soledad‘. I will be introducing the most 16 most commonly used verbs (sweet 16 verbs) in 1st and 3rd person through picture talk, student Interviews and short story summaries.

6th Grade – Food Truck Project: The students will work on creating a business memo for their food truck project.
7th Grade – Restaurant Entrepreneur: Students will create a help wanted ad for their restaurant.
8th Grade – Survey Questionnaire: Students will begin to design their own survey using Google Forms.
