If you would like to be it please Dojo me and I would really appreciate it. Please make sure you are reading this weeks story every night and going over their high frequency words so they know them. Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. This weeks spelling words are: clip, flip, slip, flag, black, plan, win, sit, be, pull
Math – Math test is on Tuesday. Books were sent home over the weekend to study the math strategies. We will start our next module on Wednesday about subtraction strategies.
ELA – Reading test on Thursday. This weeks story is called “Flip”. We will be working on L blends. This can be tricky so make sure they are sounding out and saying the word slowly when spelling so they hear the L. We are going to learn about plurals and statement vs question. Our HF words this week are: be, pull, come, good
Writing – We will write in our journals what we like to do in the fall and write comprehension questions about our story this week.
Social Studies/ Science – This week we will watch a mystery science video. For social studies we will complete a scholastic.
Religion – We are still in unit 2 and just learned about when Moses parted the Red Sea.
Don’t forget to bring in the permission slip for our trip next Friday! I still need a couple. Any children not going must stay home.
