Spelling – 3x or ABC order due on Friday. Our spelling test is on Friday. This weeks spelling words are: keep, feed, beak, seat, we, me, rain, play, other, because
Math – We have begun module 9 which is all about place value. This module is an intro and only 3 lessons! Their next math test will be on Wednesday the 11th.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. This weeks story is “Animal Teams”. We will learn about the long vowel team sound /ee/ and /ea/. We are learning this week about prefixes re, pre, and un. Our HF words this week are: into, blue, or, small, other, because. Our vocabulary words are: danger – at risk of getting hurt and partner – working with another person.
Writing – We will write about how we can spread love this month.
Social Studies – This week we will talk about many different black historians and their importance. A research sheet will be given with their assigned person on the topic. This is due Friday February 13th. We will share what we learn with each other and it will be presented to the school.
Religion – We will learn about the story “The Flight to Egypt and Return to Nazareth”.
