Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. This is what we were supposed to be doing last week but since we had the snow days we are pushing it forward a week. Be sure to check their green folders for any important notices or information. Please do not forget to bring back library books for Monday. Any questions or concerns please reach out to me.
We are going to the book fair on Wednesday. If you want your child to purchase any books make sure they have the funds for it.
Spelling – 3x each and ABC order is due on Wednesday. Our spelling test is on Friday. This weeks words are: low, row, boat, oat, no, toe, keep, we, over, more
Math – We will begin and dive deeper into place value in our new module 10, Count and Represent Numbers. The next math test will be March, 6th.
ELA – Our reading test will be on Thursday. Our story this week is “Vulture View” on page 60. We will learn about long o vowel teams /oa/ and /ow/. We will also learn about open and closed syllables. Our HF words this week are: find, food, more, over, start, warm. Our vocabulary words are: search – to look or find something and seek – to look for something you want.
Writing – We will write and answer “What is your favorite breakfast food?” and “What would you do if you met a leprechaun?” in our journals.
Religion – We will learn about the story of “The Boy Jesus in the Temple”.
