Hi everyone! Welcome back, I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and a nice little break. This week we are back to a normal week. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices or information. We have a lot going on this month so make sure to check our blog!
Our annual Santa Breakfast is on Saturday from 10-12! Come play games, eat breakfast, and get a picture with Santa. I am looking forward to seeing any who comes!
Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test will be on Friday. Our new spelling words this week are: whip, whale, catch, match, chin, graph, shop, with, many, around
Math – We will be starting our new module 5, Understand Add To and Take From Problems. This will be about reading a problem and recognizing key words to tell us if we need to add or subtract.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. This weeks story is “Fun with Maps”. We are learning about our digraphs /wh/ /ph/ /ch/ and /tch/. We will also learn about adding -es to make words plural. Our HF words are: around, by, many, place, walk.
Writing – This week we will be doing a writing craft about December and a comprehension check.
Science – We are going to be learning about snow this week which will lead into our experiment later on.
Religion – This week we are going to learn about the birth of Jesus.
Our trip to the Santa Shop is on Wednesday. If you would like them to buy gifts at the Santa Shop make sure they bring in money or you put money on their account.
