Welcome to a new, but very short, week at Trinity. Here are the updates for my classes this week, and I pray that each of you has a blessed Holy Week and Easter Sunday.
6th Religion
This week the students are researching each of the 12 Disciples of Jesus to supplement their regular lessons. There are no tests or quizzes this week.
6th Social Studies
In social studies, the students are finishing up their Greek mythology projects and they will present them before we go on break.
7th Religion
This week the students are working on writing and illustrating their own version of the Lord’s Prayer. They will present those later this week. There are no tests or quizzes this week.
7th Social Studies
To start the week, the students will present their Industrial Revolution projects. Then, we will learn about how the Industrial Revolution changed life in the North and South.
8th Religion
This week we will study the birth and early years of Jesus, which is especially poignant as we prepare to honor His death and Resurrection. There are no tests or quizzes this week.
8th Social Studies
In social studies, we are going to learn about the early days of World War II in Europe, and then how Japan’s actions drew the United States into the war.
