Spelling – 3x each or ABC order due on Wednesday. Our spelling test is on Friday. This week’s spelling words are: her, fur, bird, dirt, fern, work, barn, arm, climb, through
Math – We are beginning module 13, Two Digit Addition and Subtraction. It looks like this math test will be around the week of April 20th but I will update you.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. This week’s story is Kitten’s First Full Moon. We will be learning about the rest of the controlled r vowel sounds, /er/, /ir/, and /or/. We will be learning about adding “er” to the end of a verb to make it a noun. Our HF words this week are: another, climb, full, great, poor, through. Our vocabulary words are: leaped – making a big jump and stretched – extending parts of your body
Writing – We will be answering in our journals what we did over break, what their favorite game in gym is, and what they would do if they were the Easter bunny.
Science – This month we will begin our grass growing project with kindergarten.
Religion – We will read about the story of “Jesus Blesses the Children”.
