Welcome back to a new week at Trinity! Here are the updates for the week.

6th Religion

This week we will study the kings of the Northern and Southern Kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Then we will learn about the story of God saving Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace. The memory verse this week is Daniel 3:28.

6th Social Studies

This week the students will work on researching different kings and queens from African history. They will range from ancient Africa all the way up to the 1500s AD. The students will present their work in class on Friday, February 13th.

7th Religion

The students will have their test on unit 4 on Friday, February 13th. They will receive the review on Monday, February 9th.

7th Social Studies

The students will have their test on Topic 5 on Wednesday, February 11th. Then, they will begin research projects on the first African American government officials. They will research individuals ranging form the colonial days, up to the present time. They will present their projects after the break.

8th Religion

The students will have their test on unit 4 on Friday, February 13th. They will receive the review on Monday, February 9th.

8th Social Studies

The students will have their test on Topic 12 on Wednesday, February 11th. Then, they will begin research projects on prominent African American military leaders throughout history. They will present their projects after the break.
