Language Arts- This week we will continue Unit 9 of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, How can things in nature be used to make new things? we will read, Bread Comes to Life. We will learn the sight word – where. We will focus on the long E sounds. We will continue to determine the missing sounds in CVC words, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups and have reading homework. We will continue to review all the different word families and in grammar, we will learn about adjectives, we will use size to describe nouns.

Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and CVC words.

Math- This week we continue Chapter 16 – Analyze and Compare 2-Dimensional Shapes.

Math Centers- We will identify 2D and 3D shapes.

Jesus Time- We have completed the whole New Testament of the Bible! Now we will go back to the Old Testament and read the stories we did not get to finish before we jumped to Jesus’s birth for Christmas.

Science: We have planted our seeds to grow grass. We will continue to talk about what is needed for plants to grow and how we take care of them.

Answer: Because he’s always spotted!

Our Spring Concert is next Tuesday 5/12, the children will wear spring colored outfits, no jeans!
