Hello Fabulous Fourth Grade Families!
Happy Concert Week! Looking forward to seeing a fantastic concert on Tuesday night, the students have been working so hard and they sound amazing!
It is essential that students bring a charged chromebook to school everyday.
Below you will find what we will be doing for each subject this week:
ELA: This week we will begin to read Holes by Louis Sachar. We will be focusing on character development, and plot. We will have a comprehension test and spelling test on May 20th. In writing we will begin writing our fictional/fantasy narratives. In grammar we continue our unit on adjectives and adverbs.
Math: This week we will begin and complete Module 18: identifying lines of symmetry. Be sure to check google classroom for helpful handouts and videos that review the steps to solve the equations for the module There will be a quiz on Friday 5/15. There will be no test.
Religion: In religion we will continue Unit 3: God rises up leaders.
Social Studies: In social studies we will continue Unit 7: NY transforms.
Science: This week we will be in the STEAM lab learning about different forms of energy, and how energy is transferred.
