Language Arts- This week we will review what we have learned in Unit 6 of our Wonder’s series thus far. We will review sight words she, he, are and will focus on the long and short Uu sounds. We will continue to blend sounds and determine all the missing sounds in CVC words. We will also continue word families; we have learn all the word families and will continue to review them and now read those words in short stories. Lastly, in grammar, we will review singular and plural nouns, Ex. duck and ducks.

Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be word families and sight words.

Math- This week we will begin Module 11 – Add to and Take from Within 10.

Math Centers- We will add and subtract.

Jesus Time- We will continue to read about Jesus growing up and all the wonderful stories he told and miracles he preformed.

Science: This week we will dive into Mystery Science and learn about dogs and if they can see in color.

Social Studies:  We are enjoying learning about Black History Month and we continue to discuss different famous African American people! We will watch a video, read the sentences in our book and color their pictures! This week we will learn about Ida Van Smith, Barack Obama, and recall Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. !
