Welcome back from Easter Recess! I hope everyone had the chance to enjoy quality time with loved ones.

5th Grade Social Studies

This week, we will focus on the Articles of Confederation, Shays’ Rebellion, and begin learning about checks and balances in government.

5th Grade Science

We will be wrapping up our Alien Project! Students will present their aliens and explain how they can survive on their chosen planet or moon, taking into account factors such as atmosphere, gravity, temperature, and other environmental conditions. Presentations are expected to take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

5th Grade Religion

The highly anticipated “Trading Day” has arrived! Students will trade cards as they work to collect all 12 Apostle Trading Cards.
We will also wrap up this unit with the story of Jesus healing a man at the pool and begin preparing for the unit test on Monday, April 20. A study guide will be provided this Monday.

6th Grade Math

There will be an adding and subtracting integers quiz on Tuesday. We will then move on to multiplying and dividing integers and begin one-step equations. The one-step equations quiz is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21.

6th Grade Earth Science

Students will complete Bloom Ball panels 7–12 and begin working on review packets for the Chapter 9 Test on Wednesday, April 22.
