5th Grade Social Studies – Complete the Columbian Exchange and continue to work on the Explorers Project.  The project is projected to take 10-12 school days to complete since we are only using half of the period to work on it.  I moved the Unit 2 – Age of Exploration test to Thursday, 10/16.

5th Grade Science – Start the next unit on Earth Systems.  Our initial focus will be the Hydrosphere.   

5th Grade Religion – Start the next unit on God Leads His Nation.  The first lesson will be on God calling Moses through a burning bush and the second lesson will be on God delivering His people.  

6th Grade Math – Complete the distributive property and begin lessons on adding and subtracting fractions.  Fractions quiz will be on Monday 10/20.

6th Grade Earth Science – Complete the mineral identification lab. Begin a new lesson on the formation, mining and use of minerals with a quiz on either 10/20 or 10/21.
