Dear Parents,
I was out sick Wednesday through Friday last week and really missed all of the kids! I can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow. Miss Ava and Mrs. Seemangal took such great care of all the children in my absence and really had a great week. ! The children had a great week celebrating our Veterans and making Veterans Day crafts. The children learned all about the importance of Veterans Day and why we should appreciate and give thanks to our veterans for protecting us and our country.
This coming week we will teach the children about what it means to be Thankful. We will prepare for our school wide Thanksgiving Feast by making placements and turkey hats. We will be sending home our “disguise a turkey” craft and can’t wait to see what comes in! We will also be singing songs about “giving thanks” with our friends.
This week the children will learn how to recognize, sound out and write the letter T for Turkey We will also be learning about the color purple.
