Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful Moms!  ❤️

We had such a wonderful week learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and welcoming our new friends, our caterpillars to our class.  We can’t wait to watch them grow!

The highlight of the week would most definitely be our Art Show.  Thank you so much to all that came and supported our wonderful school and such an important cause.   We are so proud of all our little artists.

This week we will learn about the letter Y for Yellow. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter Y.   We will also continue to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly.

For religion, we will teach the children about Ascension Thursday. Ascension Thursday is a Holy day that commemorates the ascension of Jesus Christ into Heaven. 🙌🏻

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS: 

• May 20th – Special Person’s Day/Cultural Day
• May 21st – NO SCHOOL for Professional Development Day
• May 23rd through 25th – NO SCHOOL for Memorial Day Weekend. School resumes on Tuesday, May 26th.
• May 29th – ECC Picnic from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in Trinity Playground
