Dear Parents,

We hope you all enjoyed your Mother’s Day and had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

I want to start off by thanking all of those that helped make our Art Exhibition a big hit!  Thank you to all of you who attended and supported our cause.  We could not be more grateful!

This week we will learn about the letter Y for Yellow. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter Y.   We will also continue to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. We received our caterpillars on Friday and can’t wait to watch them grow into beautiful butterflies! 🦋

For religion, we will teach the children about Ascension Thursday. Ascension Thursday is a Holy day that commemorates the ascension of Jesus Christ into Heaven. 🙌🏻

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS: 

• May 20th – Special Person’s Day/Cultural Day
• May 21st – NO SCHOOL for Professional Development Day
• May 23rd through 25th – NO SCHOOL for Memorial Day Weekend. School resumes on Tuesday, May 26th.
• May 29th – ECC Picnic from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in Trinity Playground
