Dear Parents,
We hope you all enjoyed the Easter Break! We missed the children and can’t wait to see their smiling faces on Monday morning!
We have a lot in store for the upcoming week! The children will be learning about the letter K for Kite. They will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter K. We will continue making fun spring crafts to decorate our classroom. Wednesday is Heritage Day in school. This is fun and meaningful way for kids to celebrate their backgrounds and learn about others. We will share some of our traditions, holidays, and family customs. If there are any books or information about your child’s heritage, please send it in and we can share it with the class. Just send us a message on class dojo so we know you are sending in a book.
Our science unit for this month is Pond Life. We will begin by teaching the children all about the life cycle of a frog. We will also read the book, “The Big-mouthed Frog” and make a cute craft.
The children, and Miss Lois and I are so excited for the upcoming art exhibition. Our “little artists” have been working hard on their masterpieces and can’t wait for you to see their work!
