ECC Nursery – Week of 2/23/26

Dear Parents,

We hope you are all enjoying the winter break and hope to see our smiling children, back to school on Tuesday morning.

This week, we will be learning about the letter J for Jemison (Mae Jemison, the first African American woman to travel to space). The children will learn how to recognize, sound out and write the letter J.

We will conclude our Arctic Animal unit this week  by learning about one more Arctic animal and making one more craft. The children will take home their work in their Arctic Animal Portfolios they’ve been working on.

For religious instruction, the children will learn how Jesus teaches about birds and flowers.  We will also discuss the importance and meaning of Ash Wednesday and Lent.
