ECC Nursery – Week of 1/12/26

Dear Parents,

We hope you all had a nice weekend!  This past week, the children learned about the Epiphany in class and in Chapel.  The children were busy practicing their writing skills and showing us what they have learned since September.  We can’t wait to meet with you all and discuss your child’s progress.

This coming week, we will continue learning our letters by learning about the letter “M” for Martin Luther King Jr.  The children will learn to recognize, sound out, and write the letter M.   We will also celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. this week, by teaching the children who he was and why he is such an important figure in history.

For Religious Instruction, we will teach the children about Jesus in the Temple.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:

  • January 16th – NO SCHOOL for (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
  • January 19th – NO SCHOOL for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Please make sure you send in your child’s helmet so they can use the tricycles in the MPR this week. If they don’t have a helmet, they will not be able to ride one. Thank you.
  • Please make sure you empty your child’s folder each day.

Have a Blessed Day!
Miss Sue and Miss Lois
