As the summer season comes to a close, we reflect of the memories we shared and look forward to the new school year ahead and all the great adventures that await us.  All are invited to attend Parent Night on Tuesday evening at 7 pm.  We will have a brief presentation on what our school day entails, our curriculum and our expectations for the class.

We will begin going to chapel on Wednesdays this week.  Every Monday/Tuesday, your child will bring home a chapel offering envelope. If you would like to make a chapel offering, please put it in the envelope and return with your child on Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, each class will give their chapel offerings during chapel.

We cover a different concept each day in conjunction with our usual daily activities.  We also use our learning centers to reinforce and review the concepts of the week.  This week, our core concepts are:  the color yellow, the shape of a rectangle and the number two.  We will continue our study of the apple and learn about the life cycle of an apple tree.  We will also finish our discussion of the days of creation from the Bible.  We will discover positional words and use manipulative toys to represent them.
