Toddler Class News – Week of September 22nd

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  The weather has been absolutely beautiful.   We are ready for another full week of school.  This week we will be talking about Fall and Apples.  We have lots of fun things planned.  We will be painting with fall/apple scented paint, we will explore our fall themed sensory bins, and make apple pie in a cup.   We will talk about the color red and the letter A.  We will also enjoy playing with our friends as we work on sharing and taking turns.

During Jesus time we we will continue to practice the songs Jesus Loves Me and My God is so Big.  I will send the words home this week.   We will begin learning about the Creation story.

Last week we read a book about having a fire drill so they would know what to do in case of a fire.  We had our first fire drill on Thursday and they all did so great.  We taught them when the special fire bell rings – we stop, listen to the teachers, line up and leave together,  So proud of them all.
