Dear Parents,
We had a great week settling into our class routines and getting to know one another.  We enjoyed meeting many of the parents on Back To School Night.  This past week, we the children learned about the letter “A” for Apple.  We made some fun apple crafts and enjoyed chapel while singing the Johnny Appleseed prayer.

This week the children will learn about the letter “F” for Fall. They will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter “F”.  We will celebrate the first day of the Fall season and make a fun Fall windsock.  For religion we will begin to discuss and learn about God’s Creation. On Friday, the children will begin a Scholastic worksheet, called “Which One Is An Apple?”

• October 13th – NO SCHOOL for Columbus Day
• October 24th – NO SCHOOL for Professional Development Day
• Please remember to empty your child’s folder each day.
• Please remember to label all of your child’s belongings.
