This week, our classroom is going green as we get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!  We will explore some of the elements of Irish culture and read stories about the mythological creature, the leprechaun.  We will also create gold catapults for our class leprechaun, Liam, and experiment with ways we would capture Liam in a leprechaun trap.  We will also explore our body parts and the five senses (sight, taste, hearing, touch & smell) this week as part of a unit of study on our amazing human bodies.  Our additional learning themes this week will also include the letter Tt, the number 18, the story of Noah’s Ark and the holy season of Lent.
