Please stay safe and enjoy the snow day on Monday. Our lessons this week will actually be all about the snow and about how animals / people stay warm in the snow. It is quite appropriate that we will start a week where we are learning about snowy weather with lots of snow on the ground to observe first hand.
As we learn about the science of winter clothing, animal fur and cold weather, we will also discuss the letter Pp, the number 14 and we will enjoy a variety of literary experiences based on Jan Brett’s books, “The Hat” and “The Mitten.” Our ABCs of Faith for this week are: P is for praise, prayer, promise and people. Our song of praise is, “Jesus Loves The Little Children.”
This week, we will complete our unit of study on winter weather. We will celebrate the end of the unit on winter with a fun ‘ice’ inspired activity. We plan to make homemade vanilla ice cream in an ice cream churning ball. Then we will have an ice cream party on Friday with our homemade ice cream.
Lutheran School’s week is this week as well. We will enjoy daily dress up themes as we celebrate our Lutheran mission and ministry here at Trinity Lutheran School. Tuesday is joyful day (wear bright or patterned clothes.). Wednesday is dress your best day. Thursday is Zoom Day (dress up on top and casual on bottom.) Finally Friday is Future or Past Self Day (dress how you picture yourself in the future or how you were as a baby.)
Important Upcoming Dates:

- February 6th – Trinity Fundraiser Sweetheart Dance
