Many thanks to all of you for making our Valentine’s Day celebration on the 13th an enjoyable one!

  • Moving into Week 5 of Unit 3 in Wonders with a focus on the long u sound, alliteration, comparatives, the verb have/has/had, prefixes, decodable readers, expository texts, musical expressions, central ideas and relevant details, high-frequency words, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and sharing our published personal narratives in ELA
  • Diving into Module 13, Develop Addition and Subtraction Fluency, of Unit 4, Two-Digit Addition and Subtraction, in Math
  • Supplementing our study of Black History Month by taking a closer look at countries in south, east, west, central, and north Africa and developing related projects based on our findings in Social Studies
  • Investigating snow otters and snowfall, how dogs save trees from beetles, and the benefits of hopping for frogs in Science
