Mason’s birthday is on Sunday. We look forward to celebrating with him on Friday at school.
There will be a Module 17 Math test on Tuesday and a spelling test on Wednesday.
This week, we will be
- Focusing on the experiences of Paul and Peter as they told others about Jesus in Religion
- Continuing with Unit 5 of our Wonders curriculum, including phonemic blending and substitution, the diphthongs oy and oi, consonant + le syllables, high-frequency words, pronouns, the uses of text evidence, character perspective, commas in dates, expository texts about heroes, and decodable readers, plus utilizing the activities in Unit 5 of Vocabulary Workshop to enhance word understanding and use in ELA
- Completing Module 17, “Three-Digit Subtraction,” and moving into a study of measurement with Module 18, “Length in Inches, Feet, and Yards,” in Math
- Beginning Chapter 6, “Our American Culture,” in My World in Social Studies
- Exploring the varying needs of plants for water and the varieties of cacti in Science
Specials will include Library, Art, SEL, PE, Spanish, Music, and Computer. We will be attending Chapel on Wednesday. Your child will be provided with an offering envelope on Tuesday to take home.
