Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Please continue to check their green folders for any important information and notices. On Tuesday we have our Spring Concert. The children must be here at 6:30 in the classrooms. Any questions or notices please let me know.
Spelling – 3x each or ABC order is due on Wednesday. Our spelling test is on Friday. Our spelling words this week are: moon, tune, flew, blue, fruit, soup, toy, coin, enough, door
Math – We are beginning module 16, Fraction Foundations. In this module they will just learn the basics about fractions and it is 4 lessons long. May 19th will be there module 16 math test.
ELA – Our reading test will be on Thursday. Our story this week is “Click Clack Moo Cows That Type”. We will be learning about the /oo/ sound like in the word moon. We will learn about suffixes -ful and -less. We will review synonyms. Our HF words this week are: answer, brought, busy, door, enough, eyes. Our vocabulary words are: emergency: something that you don’t expect and needs to be taken care of right away and demand: asking for something forcefully or strongly.
Writing – This week we will be finishing our stories and then adding the covers! In our journals we will write about how we can help animals and what our dream vacation would be.
Science – Everyone’s grass has sprouted and we will be writing our 2nd observation this week.
Religion – We will read about Jesus Healing a Sick Boy.
