Spelling – 3x each or ABC order is due on Wednesday. Our spelling test is on Friday and our new words are: find, kind, night, right, by, pie, boat, no, caught, listen
Math – We have finished module 10 and will begin module 11, Compare Numbers. It looks like module 11 test will be Monday the 16th.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. This week we will learn about the long vowel team i. /igh/, /ie/ /i/. Our story this week is “Hi! Fly Guy” We are also learning about when we are adding ed or ing to words that end in y we need to drop the y and add i. We are also going to review proper nouns. Our HF words are: caught, flew, know, laugh, listen, were. Our vocabulary words are beautiful – pleasing and fancy – not plain
Writing – We will answer in our journals “What would you spend gold coins on?”, “When is a time that you felt lucky”, and “What is your favorite cereal?”.
Science – This week we will begin our rainbow unit!
Religion – We will be talking about the story of “Jesus Calls Matthew”.
