Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. This week is a 4 week so we will have our reading and spelling test on Thursday. We are also celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday! If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
Spelling – 3x each or ABC order is due on Wednesday. Our spelling test is on Friday. Our spelling words this week are: key, bumpy, puppy, funny, sandy, my, night, would, write
Math – We have our module 11 test on Monday and will begin Module 12 on Wednesday. Module 12 is “Understand Addition and Subtraction with Tens and Ones”.
ELA – Our reading test will be on Thursday. Our story this week is “Koko and Penny”. We will be learning about /ey/ and /y/ saying the long e sound. We will learn about compound words, base words and their endings. Our HF words are: found, hard, near, woman, would, write. Our vocabulary words are clever – quick to think of good ideas and signal – silent action or sound that tells you to something
Writing – This week in our journals we will write about what we did over the weekend and what we love about rainbows.
Science – We are continuing our rainbow unit!
Religion – We will learn about the story of “Jesus Heals an Official’s Son”.
