Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new week. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices or information. Please make sure you are reading the story of the week and going over their HF words at home. We do a lot in class but reinforcement and support at home goes a long way. Picture Day is on Tuesday! Spelling – 3x each due on Wednesday and spelling test on Friday. Our spelling words this week are: hop, top, log, hog, hot, lot, flip, black, they, too
Math – We started our second module last week about subtraction strategies. We will continue that this week. I am going to start sending the math homework back for extra practice.
ELA – Reading test is on Thursday. Our story this week is Friends on page 68. We are learning about short o. This week we will also learn about ABC order and an exclamation. Our HF words this week are fun, make, they, too
Writing – We are still working on our handwriting and writing a correct sentence.
Social Studies/ Science – We are going to start in our moon unit in science. For social studies we will talk about rules and laws.
Religion – We are learning about Moses adventures this week in unit 2.
