Language Arts- This week we will begin Unit 8 of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, What can help you go from here to there? & we will read, “When Daddy’s Truck Picks Me Up”. We will learn sight words – here & me. We will continue to blend sounds and determine the missing sounds in CVC words, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups. We will continue to review all the different word families and in grammar, we will learn about prepositions, telling where something is. Ex. The book is on the table.

Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and word families.

Math- This week we will complete Module 12- Put Together and Take Apart to 10 and have our test on Tuesday and then begin Module 13– Way to Make Numbers to 10.

Math Centers- We will do addition and subtraction problems.

Jesus Time- We will continue to read about Jesus and the Easter Story. We just finished our Easter story project, the kids are very proud of them and can tell anyone about the Easter story by spinning their wheel. We will continue to learn and speak about the sacrifice Jesus made in order to forgive us from our sins and the exciting and blessed day of Easter.

Science: This week we will learn about hibernation and spring.

Answer: Because it already had a million degrees.

We will have off for Easter Break from Thursday, April 2nd- Sunday, April 12th!
