Mrs. Holder’s Update for the Week of May 25, 2026

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend spent with family and friends. This is another short week, but we still have a lot of learning ahead of us!

5th Grade Social Studies – This week we will focus on the first political parties, President John Adams, and the Louisiana Purchase.

5th Grade Science – We will continue our lessons on floods as a natural disaster, and there will be a quiz on Thursday. Toward the end of the week, we will begin our unit on wildfires.

5th Grade Religion – As we continue learning about the miracles of Jesus, we will study the story of Him healing a blind man. We will also discuss the riches of God’s blessings and what they mean in our daily lives.

6th Grade Math – We will continue our final exam review with a focus on decimals, statistics, graphing, and expressions. A take-home practice test will be given on Wednesday. Reminder: This week begins our two-week extra help schedule to help students prepare for the math final.

6th Grade Earth Science – This week we will begin final exam review questions. There will be a review test on Thursday covering Chapters 1–3.

Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful week!
