Algebra

This week we are learning to graph the slope-intercept form and the point-slope form of a line. There will be a quiz on Friday, 10/17 on using the slope formula, graphing a line using a table, intercepts, slope intercept form and point slope form of a line.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are finishing up our chapter on scientific notation. The unit test will be on Wednesday, 10/15. Use the study guides provided to help you prepare for the exam. Make sure to know how to write numbers in scientific notation, convert numbers from scientific notation to standard form, comparing numbers in scientific notation, and how to multiply, divide, add and subtract numbers written in scientific notation. The rest of the week will focus on solving 1 and 2 step algebraic equations.
