Algebra

This week we are starting a new chapter of inequalities. We will learn how to solve and graph 2 step and multi-step inequalites and how to write inequalites from word problems. We will have a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Friday, 9/26.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are finishing up our first unit. The unit exam will be on Tuesday, 9/23. Use the review sheet given in class to guide your studying. The exam covers everything that we have done so far this year. This includes: finding and estimating square roots, classifying numbers (rational vs. irrational), writing radicals in simplest radical form, solving square root and cubed root equations. The remainder of the week we will be starting a new chapter on exponent properties.
